Range anxiety seems to be a common 'thing' amoung some prospective EV owners, maybe even some owners. New technology increases range of the EVs far exceed those of just a few years ago. It is not like being able to simply to pull into a fueling station out in the middle of nowhere with an EV, so the idea of 'running out of range' can be an issue to some people. It also matters about experience of the driver, as far as getting the best 'range' out of an EV that a driver can get. In Wheel Time is all about all things automtoive, which means we get to attend some great events during the year ... and one that we have come to really look forward to is the Tailpipes & Tacos cruize-in on the third Saturday of the month. Not a car show, but a cruized-in so the flow of vehicles in the Lupe Tortilla - Grand Parkway / Katy parking lot seems to be constantly changing. One of the reasons this is such a great event, the host, @Stan HoltStan Holt, is a car guy. He has a few cars, and he is a pretty good at drag racing, competing and winning in NHRA National Sportsman catagories. The event is also a fund raiser for 'Shirley's Kids', a foundation established by the Queen of Drag Racing, Ms. Shirley Muldowney. All the proceeds from the sale of some great breakfast tacos, coffee, and other assorted breakfast beverages go to support that charity. For years, vacation meant a road trip - and how we wish we could get on the road about now!
