A wheel stud that “may separate,” airbags that are “misassembled,” and fuel tanks that can leak after a crash. That’s not clickbait, that’s our recall list. We kick things off with straight talk on the latest automotive recalls, including 2026 Hyundai models, the Tesla Cybertruck, Volkswagen Taos, Land Rover Defender, Audi Q5 seat belt concerns, and even instrument panel display failures tied to the Dodge Charger EV and Jeep Wagoneer S. If you like your car news useful, fast, and a little skeptical, you’re in the right place.

Then we switch gears into one of our favorite games: the Hemmings Sold Car Roundup. We throw a photo up, you guess the sold price, and we all argue about what the market is thinking. From two vintage Studebaker Commanders and a surprisingly strong AMC AMX to a rough-and-ready Plymouth Suburban with racing vibes, the numbers tell a story about rarity, originality, and the hidden tax of “good luck finding parts.”

The nostalgia hits hard with an ’85 Camaro chat (yes, T-tops and leaks come up), a massive ’76 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible reality check, and a 1964 Shelby Cobra that lives in serious collector territory. And if you’ve ever looked under the hood of a questionable project car, you’ll appreciate the rough 1978 Pontiac Firebird moment, complete with a shop rag doing air-filter duty.

We wrap with Jeff’s Car Culture and a question that takes us back in time: where did the full-page car ad go? We dig into vintage magazine renderings, old-school newspaper dealership price sheets, and how car buying and automotive advertising changed once everything moved online. If you enjoy automotive recalls, classic car auction prices, and car culture history, subscribe, share this with a car friend, and leave us a review so more listeners can find the show.

Cold Open And Weekend Banter

Don Armstrong

It is the award-winning In Wheel Time Car Talk Show. Just ahead. We're going to have the person. No.

Jeff Dziekan

Okay. You do.

Don Armstrong

You go.

Jeff Dziekan

Okay. I can tell you. Okay, well tell me this. Well, we've got uh recalls coming up. Uh we've got this is what's sold for Hemmings. And then we've got uh my car my car culture coming up.

Don Armstrong

Oh, really?

Jeff Dziekan

So there.

Don Armstrong

Well, I I have the racing calendar, but we already did that, didn't we?

Jeff Dziekan

Yeah, we did the racing calendar.

Don Armstrong

We're on uh 11 o'clock.

Jeff Dziekan

We're at A B. Oh turn the page, Bob Seeger.

Don Armstrong

There you go. So gather around. Recalls and how much did that car go for? Yeah. Well, you know, you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink. That's all right. Isn't that what they said? Well, we were said that. I don't know who did. Yeah, I know. I had one too many last night. I did three margaritas, and I never do that. Um apparently uh somebody pushed me into it.

unknown

Gosh.

Don Armstrong

The people sitting across the table from me. So whoa, I'm gonna have another one. How about you? Well, what am I gonna be the bump on the log and go, no, I'm gonna go home and go to bed.

Mike Marrs

I hate to see a man drink alone, you know. You want to be sociable.

Don Armstrong

Yeah. Did you drink last night, Mars?

Mike Marrs

No, sir. Oh, liar liar pants on fire. Nope, not last night. It's gonna be tonight. Tonight. Oh, yes.

Don Armstrong

I knew it.

Mike Marrs

It's Saturday night. I'm gonna take a bath and everything.

Recall Roundup And Safety Questions

Don Armstrong

That's what you do on a Saturday night in Neaterville, Texas, huh? Okay, I got some recalls, okay, as I always do. Misassembled airbag sensors. I mean, what does that mean? Misassembled. So, in other words, when it blows up, it blows down to your feet. Uh I don't I don't know exactly what that means. We'd have to look into that.

Mike Marrs

Maybe it blows out instead of in.

Don Armstrong

I I don't know. Misassembled airbag sensors. Uh Hyundai, Elantra, Alantra in, Tucson, Tucson Hybrid, Tucson plugin hybrid, all from the 2026 model year. Wow. It's being recalled. Wheel stud may separate.

Jeff Dziekan

Darn it.

Don Armstrong

Tesla Cybertruck 2024 to 2026. How does a stud separate?

unknown

Okay.

Don Armstrong

Fuel tank may leak after a crash in the Volkswagen Taus. TOUS 25 and 26 model years. Instrument panel display failure, Dodge Charger EV, Jeep Wagoneer S 24 to 25. Fuel tank may leak, Land Rover Defender, 2026. Uh seat belts may not restrain occupants, then what good are they?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

Hemmings Sold Car Game Begins

Don Armstrong

This would be the Audi Q5, Q5 Sport Back, SQ5, and SQ5 Sportback 2025 model year. And drum roll, please, Ford. Okay, that's it. It's gonna the entire company does it all. Um loose bolt in the front seat frame. Martha. Martha, you're what are you doing in the back seat? I thought you got in in the front. Ford Bronco and Ford Ranger, 24 through 26 model years. So I guess they're gonna bring it in and uh ratchet on it. And that'll that'll take care of that. All right, this is what we've all been waiting for. It's time now for Heming's sold car roundup. We pick a few out of the weekly list that they supply, and we say we describe what the car is. Mars shows us the picture of the car, and then you guess the price of what that car sold for. Okay.

unknown

Okay.

Don Armstrong

Here's the first one up for bid this morning. It sold for uh, and this is car number one, the 1948 Studebaker Commander. Now, it I don't recall the headlights being like that in a stock Studebaker Commander. Uh, but I think that they've done some you think that's modified.

Mike Marrs

I I don't know. Yeah, well, I think that it is. I think if you you look at the wheels and the tires and like you say, the head motor.

Jeff Dziekan

Yeah, look at the engine too.

Don Armstrong

And it's a convertible D headlights in it. Did they make a convertible in 48 for that car? If they did, well, what a waste of time. What?

Jeff Dziekan

Yeah.

Don Armstrong

Really? Yeah. Okay. So Jeff's gonna go for 68,000. Bring it home.

Jeff Dziekan

What are you gonna go for? David and Stacy uh Lusk say 27.5. 27.5, okay. Mr. Heitzman is in a 10 grand. Okay.

Don Armstrong

Anybody else?

Mike Marrs

I think we lost George. George, yeah.

Jeff Dziekan

Whatever his is is a 9999.

Don Armstrong

Yeah. Uh so it's sold for$22,050. Okay. It's just a little off base. But you see, that's not a stock insurance. It's a restaurant. Yeah, but restaurant are getting um and it's a convertible. Why more would you spend that kind of money on that car?

Mike Marrs

Ooh. Yeah, but it's because it's different, it's unique.

Don Armstrong

Okay. Well, I'll tell you what, you buy it, and I'll go, why would you spend the money on that car? You know what it needs? It needs a Ford propeller on it. That's what it is.

Mike Marrs

Oh, right there in the middle of the middle of the front, right there right there.

Don Armstrong

While we're in the mood for Studebakers, let's do another one, shall we? Here now is a 1941 Studebaker Commander. Okay. It is a it's got like it's got suicide doors on it. So and that was stock, I'm sure, from the factory. Because this looks like a completely stock car. 1941 Studebaker Commander probably has got a spineless six-cylinder in it, would be my guess. And uh what do you think that looks like it? Yeah, pardon me. It looks like it, yeah. Yeah. Um, what do you think that that car sold? 42,000.

Jeff Dziekan

Wow. 42? I'm going 42. Okay. Heitzman says 35. 35. Uh the Lusk family says 37,999.

Don Armstrong

Okay. You all are going to be disappointed because you all have overbid.

Jeff Dziekan

All right. That's part of the game.

Don Armstrong

It's sold for$18,900. Wow. And here's the problem. Uh it's a beautiful car. Don't get me wrong. It looks like it's all completely stock. Try to find a part for that. Uh you're not going to walk into the uh O'Reilly's high-low auto supply and say, Um, I need a starter or I need a water pump for my 41 Studebaker Commander.

Mike Marrs

Because it's if if you look real close at well, some of the other pictures, it's still a six-volt system. It's not even upgraded to 12 volt. Ah.

Jeff Dziekan

There you go. Well, see, then I would have changed my bid to 18,000 if I would have known. 18,000. Only even an hour.

Don Armstrong

I would have changed it in a hurry. All right. Next up is a 1968 AMC AMX. Yeah. So what they've done is that they took this car, they took the back seat out of it, and they put what was their high performance motor in it to compete with the Mustang and the Camaros and that sort of stuff. The problem with it is, have you ever seen one of these in person? Yeah. It's big. Yeah. It's a big it's a big it's bigger than a Nova. Oh, and it's bigger than the Camaro, and certainly bigger than the than the Mustang. It's like a Chevelle size. Yes. Yeah. Correct. So a 68 AMC AMX. They didn't build that many of them. So that's kind of a hint at what this car sold for.

Jeff Dziekan

I'm going to go 23. 23. George is at 1699. The Lusk family's at 19K. And Jeff Heisman is at 29.

Don Armstrong

Well, everybody is under bid because this car sold for 39,375. Now, it looks stock to me. Does the radio look stock to you? Yeah, it does. Okay. Well, you've got an ashtray. See, I didn't see that. What'd you say, Mike?

Mike Marrs

I I think it is pretty much stock, so you know, from the other pictures and stuff.

Don Armstrong

Well, that alone is worth some money.

Jeff Dziekan

And the ashtray and cigarette lighter raised it. I should have noticed that. Yeah, I think it's a good idea.

Don Armstrong

Mars got all panicky about the next car. Oh, wow. Because he wrote me and said, listen, he wants it? No.

Mike Marrs

He wrote me and said, Well, I was thinking our stuff would fit in the back of it for our road trips.

Don Armstrong

Yeah. Kind of like uh like Bobby at uh Hot Rod Toura, Texas, with the Edsel that's actually um It's a Lincoln, isn't it? It's Oldsmobile. No, it's a it's either a Lincoln or it is a uh uh We'll find out. Yeah, whatever.

Jeff Dziekan

Yeah.

Don Armstrong

But this this this is not that. This is a 57 Plymouth Suburban.

Jeff Dziekan

This that looks like a helicopter uh dash panel almost. Well kind of whatever. Wow they did weird things like that. How much? Uh Flesh Family says 3,000 and it's rough, right?

Don Armstrong

Well, I think that the the sale price of this is I'm gonna go nine. Nine. I want to say this, and I should have said this up front, that I think that the stickers are all original, that this car was used for something other than a streetcar. Yeah, it looks rough, but it is rough. Jeff Heisman said 17.

Jeff Dziekan

George's 15,999. Okay.

Don Armstrong

Well, it's sold for 24,750 for some reason. Wow. Uh, and I think that the stickers probably have something to do with it. It was in some sort of a Pan American race or something.

Mike Marrs

Oh, the cross-country thing that's yeah.

Don Armstrong

I like the I like the hubcaps. Dave I love those cats. Those are full wheel covers, sir. Well, yeah, that's right, they are.

Muscle Cars And Nostalgia Buys

SPEAKER_01

You're right.

Don Armstrong

Right. Next up, I had one of these. This is a 1985 Chevrolet Camaro. And a couple of years into this car, I decided that I wanted to put some headlight covers on it. And I did. And they made them, they were clear plastic, and I had to drill two holes at the front of the lower part of it, and then they had little nubs that you'd click in there, and then you'd fold them back, and then you'd close the hood.

Jeff Dziekan

I what color was yours?

Don Armstrong

Um, silver, I think.

Jeff Dziekan

I had a 92 RS Victory Red, and I had the headlight covers on it too. Did you? Mine were smoked, mine were black.

Don Armstrong

Oh, okay. Well, they didn't make the smoked ones then. All right. So how much do you think that this 85 Chevy Camaro went for? It had no horsepower, I'll tell you.

Jeff Dziekan

I'm gonna say$7,000. Really? Yeah.

Mike Marrs

Less families at$25. Mr. Heitzman says$42. He likes it.

Don Armstrong

I know. Apparently. It's gorgeous. Yeah.

Mike Marrs

It's gorgeous. Um then uh George wants for$13,999.

Don Armstrong

Well, uh George is closest without going over because it's sold for$16,275.

Jeff Dziekan

Yeah, good.

Don Armstrong

Yeah, that that that's an okay price. Yeah, that's the driver.

Jeff Dziekan

Does it have T-tops? Uh apparently it looks like it. It kind of looks like it. Yes, it did. Yeah.

Don Armstrong

Yeah, it has T tops. Um if they don't leak, then that's a good thing. But they all leak. Did they make them that don't leak? I don't think so. All right, next up. This is for uh this is for Jeffrey. This is, ladies and gentlemen, a 1976 Cadillac El Dorado Convertible.

Jeff Dziekan

I'm tearing up.

Don Armstrong

Are you?

Jeff Dziekan

Yeah.

Don Armstrong

This looks uh actually stock. And remember those painted wheel covers? Oh, they're gorgeous. They match the color of the car. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So 76 Cadillac El Dorado Convertible. I've driven many of those. Now, did they not have headlight covers on them? No. They didn't. Okay. All right. I thought they, you know, flopped.

Jeff Dziekan

Oh no, that you're thinking of the Riviera. Okay. Yeah. So 76 Cadillac El Dorado, what did that say? Uh the Lusk family says 50K. 50? Wow. Okay. Heitzman says 51. I'm going to do uh I'm going to do 32.

Don Armstrong

32.

Jeff Dziekan

And George's 29,999.

Don Armstrong

Okay, well, it's sold for 1811. I still would have paid 32.

Mike Marrs

You'd have to spend the other 10,000 to build your garage big enough to get it in there.

Don Armstrong

Well, not only that, but you're going to have to get all of the electric motors repaired on everything that is operated by an electric motor, which is probably a thousand things.

Jeff Dziekan

Well, you know, that's the risk you take, though.

Don Armstrong

Does the top work?

Jeff Dziekan

Well, the top's up, yeah. The top's down there and the top's up there. Yeah, they could have done that by hand.

Don Armstrong

All right, next up, we're gonna go to the other end of the spectrum and to a 64 Shelby Cobra. Now, based on the price, I'm just gonna say to you that this is some sort of an original, uh, unrestored. Uh, it looks like a race car. It's got uh open headers on it. Yeah, collectors, yeah. 64 Shelby Cobra. What do you think that that would go for?

Jeff Dziekan

Are you sitting down? I'm gonna go 225.$225,000. That's what I'm going. Look at look at the look at the Russ family's a lusk family says 100?

Don Armstrong

Those are those are in injectors, aren't they?

Jeff Dziekan

Yeah, they're they're like awesomeness.

Don Armstrong

Yeah.

Jeff Dziekan

54 from Mr. Heitman.

Don Armstrong

Does it say Roush on it? Yeah. Well, Roush, it's a Roush motor, but that that was not that was not stock in 64 like that.

Jeff Dziekan

George is at 119.999. It sold for you to think this is a factory street car.

Don Armstrong

No. No, it's a race car. It's got open headers on it.

unknown

Right.

Don Armstrong

Collectors. Okay, well it sold for 174.3.

Jeff Dziekan

Okay.

Don Armstrong

174.3. And and not only that, but it I don't believe that that car originally had a tilt nose on it. It had a hood. It's been modified for racing. Yeah. Anyway.

Jeff Dziekan

Hey, I drive it.

Don Armstrong

$174,000. Quickly. All right. And our last one up this morning is this one, a 1978 Pontiac Firebird. And I picked this out because it looks a little rough. A little? It looks rough. What was that? Is that is let me ask you this. On the motor there, is that a red shop rag? Yeah. It is a red shop rag over the carburetor. They're concealing the uh state of the air.

Jeff Dziekan

Good sign right there. Secret carburetor. Yeah, top secret carburetor. Not I wonder what the sparkleators look like to have. Who was it that had the TV show with that kind of car? It was a detective show. It lived in a beach house or something.

Don Armstrong

Oh, that was James Garner. James Garner, yeah. What was the name of the show? I don't remember the name of the show, but at any rate.

Jeff Dziekan

Jeff says 13 on this. The Lusk family says five, and I'm with you on that. I'm going to go seven. Jeff is 13. George is 179.

Don Armstrong

Sold for$7,600.

Jeff Dziekan

Just bought me a car. Look what I bought. Yeah. Yeah. Don't show it to Kathy. She says, you're not going to put that on mine. Now, don't buy that for Mother's Day. That's not a Mother's Day print.

Mike Marrs

And if you're worried about the T tops leaking, if you'll notice that bottom left-hand corner there, the floorboard, there's a hole that goes through, so it'll drain right on through down onto the ground. Rockfit files. Rockfruit files. That was the name of it.

Jeff Dziekan

It looks like it's got some somebody attempted wood grain on the side there on that shop. Oh my God. Oh, that's Bobo, sorry.

Mike Marrs

That's the rust that's not fixed but painted on.

Jeff Dziekan

Uh-huh. Throw some paint on it. Oh my gosh. The wheel, the honeycomb wheels are probably uh a good thing if they're not scuffed up.

Don Armstrong

Well, but they're not stock. No. They they I think that the um the fire that that cannot be a real honest to god firebird.

Mike Marrs

I I think it is.

Jeff Dziekan

Well, Hemings would have to disclaim it.

unknown

Yeah.

Jeff Dziekan

Whatever.

Mike Marrs

I mean, there are more pictures of it with the uh the reversed hood scoop that goes through the hood. Yeah. It came with that, or that car has it. Let me rephrase that.

Jeff Dziekan

I was just gonna say it's a firebird, not a TA. We don't we don't know.

Mike Marrs

We'd have to do a little more digging.

Don Armstrong

We're going down the translator with the I know, but we're getting down the shop rag on the carburetor pretty well says it off. Yeah, yes, yeah. What happened to the what happened to that air filter? Oh, we threw it away, didn't work for anyone.

Mike Marrs

Shop rags are cheaper, collects more dirt. Yeah.

unknown

Okay.

Don Armstrong

Is it okay to say that? Yeah, I've just uh You wanted to say something. You wanted to comment on that comment.

Jeff Dziekan

No, I was thinking, well, we just had a Mexican food commercial and I was thinking a little cramped up.

Don Armstrong

Yeah. I don't think that they cramp you up over there at Lupi Tortilla.

Jeff Dziekan

We're just commenting that all that you just want the whatever's comes up on that picture, you want to eat it. It's really good stuff. If you haven't been there, you need to go.

Don Armstrong

Yeah, and go to the original one. Yeah. Treat yourself, you know. I know it's I-10 and Highway 6, but um all of the other Lupi Tortillas are patterned after that little house. Yeah. And uh it's unique and it's fun and it's the original. 1983, I think.

Jeff Dziekan

And if you're in Mike's area of, you know, in the Beaumont area, uh, they've got one out there too. Yeah. Right there on the freeway. Several down here in the Houston, Richmond, Sugarland area.

Where Full-Page Car Ads Went

Don Armstrong

All right, time out for Jeff's car culture. Where did the full-page car ad go?

Jeff Dziekan

Well, uh we talked in the preview of the show that well uh Mike and I were trying to coordinate some videos of some of the old car commercials, Dinosaur, Chevrolet, you know, the Bonanza Boys, all that. Couldn't really coordinate that, so we came up with this. Uh they're static. These are actual magazine ads from back in the day. The first one that we've got is basically a vintage 1966 ad, and it's good deals back in the day, is what it's what it's called. No, that's not the right one, is it, Mike?

Don Armstrong

That's not the that's not a 66, I can tell you that.

Jeff Dziekan

But that's okay. Let's move on to this. This one, I believe, is uh well, don't know what that is. That's the chrome, chrome head more chrome in 1957. That's not even it. Move on to the next one, Michael.

Don Armstrong

That's a pretty picture.

Jeff Dziekan

Yeah, it is. This one is uh the Cadillac. Yeah, it's a chrome uh chrome chrome and more chrome is what that is. So you'd see that in a magazine ad, you'd be flipping through your uh uh with the ladies' magazines that they had back in the day, you that would pop up. Look, look magazine. There you go. Look at that. Move on to the next one here. The LaSalle. The LaSalle. That one is uh the 1240. It's for$1,240. So you won't find that on Hemings for$1240, that's for sure. Nice little family.

Don Armstrong

Yes. What does it say something? Now go go sailing on the highway. Yeah, now we'll go sailing on the highway.

Jeff Dziekan

Yeah, as a Mercury A for 41. Look at that bad boy. Yeah, not a big fan, but whatever. But it's the way they actually drew that picture, the rendering of it. That's that's pretty nice.

Don Armstrong

You don't see it. The one thing that I've noticed on these, they they actually didn't take a picture. Picture of the car. Somebody did a drawing.

Jeff Dziekan

It was like Bill Heitrick making a rendering, yeah. The artist back in the design shops of the actual manufacturer would make the pictures. Like you see in today's automotive car shows where they make an actual picture of the car. That's what they would do.

Don Armstrong

Mercury 8 for 1941. Next up. Ooh, it's a Woody.

Jeff Dziekan

Yeah. Boston.

Don Armstrong

I hit Boston and Buenos Aires. Yeah. You got a little European flair there with the wooden sides of the wagon.

Mike Marrs

And of course the other thing, almost all of them have got family members in them, either in the cars or even the drawings. But you know who makes that? Jeep.

Jeff Dziekan

That's a Jeep.

Don Armstrong

It is a Jeep.

Jeff Dziekan

So you could have a Jeep down.

Don Armstrong

Is it a wagoneer?

Jeff Dziekan

Uh that I don't know. But you could drive it from Boston all the way down to West. That's right. Stick it on the boat. Well, no, I think you could be yeah, you could probably get there.

unknown

Yeah.

Jeff Dziekan

You'd have to cross the uh Panama Canal to put it on a boat. Okay. This is going well. Yeah, okay.

Don Armstrong

Nash Nash. Combined with Rambler, and it was called a Nash Rambler eventually.

Jeff Dziekan

And that's uh every engineer in the air, or every engineer the air. That's what it is.

Don Armstrong

We've we've re-engineered the air.

Jeff Dziekan

Yeah, something like that.

Don Armstrong

I guess because of its aerodynamic capabilities. And that big old front end looks like a fence.

Jeff Dziekan

It does.

Don Armstrong

Yeah, it really does. Not really attractive.

Mike Marrs

No wonder they're not. Flat fenders, kind of like uh uh back into the 40s, maybe even 30s.

Jeff Dziekan

That's for the coefficient. The drag coefficient. That's right. All right, Mike. Next.

Don Armstrong

I don't know how many you got there.

Jeff Dziekan

Oh, yeah. This is my favorite.

Don Armstrong

This one is uh uh blindfold test opens eyes of motorists.

Mike Marrs

Yeah, so you're driving blindfolded?

Don Armstrong

No, the driver's not blindfolded. Come on, look at the you gotta look at the picture, Mike.

Jeff Dziekan

Why are we on the why are we on this dirt road in the middle of nowhere and you got a shovel in your hand?

Don Armstrong

Because they're trying to demonstrate, apparently, the ride quality of it. Right, right. Oh, rides like a Cadillac, but it's a dodge. It's a dodge. And why do you have rope?

Mike Marrs

It's just that's crazy.

Jeff Dziekan

Thank you, Mike. That didn't work out. No, it didn't work out at all. What happened? I uh well, they were kind of different that they were they were not in order. I might have sent them the wrong ones.

Mike Marrs

Well, there was no order.

Newspaper Car Deals And Fine Print

Don Armstrong

There was no order, great. Well, we you know what, we need to try that again. We'll do it again. And we needed to we need I want newspaper ads of car dealerships. All right. Um that and they they should be easy to find because I ran across one. I I'm on the same. I sent it with you. Yeah, I sent it over to you, but I was too late getting it to you to put on there. But I will tell you that uh it's funny because if you remember correctly, on the weekends, mainly on Saturday, the car dealerships used to run full page newspaper ads for the cars. Well, that one there is the parts department at Kmart.

Jeff Dziekan

Yeah, that's the one you sent me.

Don Armstrong

Yeah. And uh the full pay and they had all of the prices, all of the cars on there. So you go there and say, I want that car right there. Oh, I'm sorry, we sold that. Yeah. I don't think it'd be differ it'd be difficult to do these days, especially with the new laws that in the lawsuits.

Mike Marrs

Exactly. Yeah.

Don Armstrong

Yeah. I don't know how you'd do it, but you'd have to do it online, I guess. But uh yeah, full page ads, all of the new cars, all of the used cars, and then there was always a big thing in there about you know oil changes uh this weekend or$9.95 or whatever it was. And different grades of oil. Yeah, good bad. Yep, all that. And you could also buy tires. I know at Richardson Chevrolet, guess what kind of tires we sold? Don't know. Armstrong tires. Oh boy. Armstrong the road. Do you remember those ads? Armstrong tires?

Mike Marrs

Now that you mention it.

Don Armstrong

Yeah. Wow. Well, that was back in the day. Armstrong tires. Do they still make those? I bet you.

Jeff Dziekan

It was U Royal, wasn't it? Uh I I don't I don't think they make them. Armstrong tires. But don't know.

Don Armstrong

Yeah. Said I thought Armstrong on the side of the tire. Look at that.

Jeff Dziekan

Yeah. Famous.

Don Armstrong

They were proud. I wasn't. I was embarrassed. Because I mean, no, who would who would go at that time? You'd never go to the car dealership and buy tires. Unless you they came in on a wrecker and you had no choice. Collision shop or something else. Yeah.

Mike Marrs

Well, you for one thing you don't think about it. And you just that's not where I would think about going to buy tires for my car.
